I rarely write reviews. The hardest part for me was removing the old drain. I consider myself a little handy, but I have no experience with plumbing. It looked pretty easy on the video with wingtite. Apparently I had a different type of drain. I called tech support after I started sawing off the old stock. I'm glad I did. Greg took the call and asked me to email him the photos. He described the type of drain I had and what 4 additional items I needed to purchase (#1 is a 2" DWV PVC coupler, #2 is a foot of 2" DWV PVC pipe, #3 is a small can of clear glue for PVC, #4 - internal cutter for PVC pipe). He said to call him back when I bought everything. I called him later and he explained step by step what I had to do. I spoke to him on the phone for about 45 minutes and also wrote a few emails. It was really easy to put on the Wingtite. Also, I had to call Greg at Lowe's to make sure I had the right connection and he answered right away and helped again. He asked me to update him when I was done with the work. Customer service was outstanding. Oh, and the Wingtite seems fine. It took several hours to remove the old drain and get additional parts, but I couldn't have done it without excellent customer service. In addition, they strongly recommend using silicone instead of plumber.
