My aluminum ladder which I inherited and if we assume it is 20+ years old then its aluminum ends are sticking out. Even though they're not Werner, they're a perfect fit. I've tried duct tape, caulking tape, duct tape to keep the sharp edges from ruining what they're resting on. I wish I had found these years ago.
