This is a very good, sharp lens that can be adapted to many mirrorless systems with an adapter, much cheaper than comparable standard lenses. Of course, you'll need to focus manually, not automatically, but the lens' focus ring is smooth and easy to use, and it also has distance markings. I've only had the lens for a few weeks and haven't compared it to the Panasonic Leica 45mm yet, but I did a hand test with 100% crop loaded. The footage looks very close in sharpness, which both were done at 2.8, which impressed me. I will update the rating when I use the lens more often. When the aperture is wide open, a halo of light is created. I have a cheaper haze filter but I don't see a significant difference. Reducing the aperture to 2.0 eliminates this, and it's not that big of a deal. The lens is heavier than the system's standard lenses, but that doesn't bother me and it feels more solid. Mostly it will be personal preference, I can still get it in and out easily and I like the weight. All in all a very good lens, cheap compared to other native offerings of the same aperture and quality. I love fast primes and this is a great addition to my set.
