Collars with spikes Love Sprenger. That's the only brand I will buy. They are strong and last a long time. I use them on my two labs, they both weigh about 100 pounds. Don't think you need huge teeth for a big dog, my trainer showed me the difference between big and small. My dog wasn't listening or responding to the big tines. Once I got him down to the right, smaller size, he became a different dog. I was amazed at how well he answered. Make sure you have a collar with a clip or buckle as this is annoying and makes it difficult for your hands to hook the pins in and out of each other. The collar should also fit snugly around the neck so that the chain does not come into contact with the ends of the collar when you pull it. It's hard to explain, but do a little research to find out how to use them. Both of my dogs are great on a leash now. Thanks Sprenger!
