Easy upgrade for my 5+ year old ASUS N56 laptop. It took me about a minute to swap out the RAM and install new RAM. Windows 10 immediately recognized without any problems that I had 16 GB instead of 8 GB. My resting memory utilization has increased from about 40% to 20%. When I close Steam, Origin, and other background programs that use RAM, my remaining RAM usage is 13%. As long as the motherboard or graphics card doesn't fail, I can see my computer being used for at least another 5+ years for legacy gaming (2GB graphics card limit) as well as MS Office and internet usage. I also just put an SSD in place of my 5200rpm mechanical hard drive. Replacing the hard drive with new RAM made my computer run better than it did in 2014 when I got it new!
