Review on πŸ” Denso 234-9003 Air-Fuel Ratio Sensor by George Jacobson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Here is my process for the connector.

Denso can't go wrong. I have used several Denso products on my 2003 Tacoma and have had no problems. Luckily my sensor nuts weren't too rusty so it was very easy to unscrew them. The plug is a different story. I did that and it worked very well. Remove the sensor from the exhaust pipe and let it hang out. Enter the cabin and remove the derailleur boots to access the top of the gearbox. The plug will be there. Disconnect the connector from the transmission so you can move the wiring harness. Pull the band (with the dangling sensor) closer so you can grab it. At this point it was really easy to switch off. To install a new one, first connect it in the cabin, and then carefully lower the sensor along the gearbox. Connect to the exhaust and you're good to go. The whole thing took me about 30 minutes.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Price that beats the piggy bank
