Review on ๐ŸŒŠ Enhance Water Quality Assessment with KEYESTUDIO Turbidity Sensor Module V1 for Arduino by Kirt Phillips

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very cool little sensor

I saw before I bought it that it can't be submerged in water so I'm not deducting a star for that. I think it can be hot glued, but I assume the sensor is generating enough heat that condensation could form. The sensor itself is awesome and tells you how "clean" the water is. I used the sample code posted by D. Porry (thanks D!) and it worked quickly. I bought it along with a TDS sensor to measure water contamination in the laser cutter cooling system. The two together seem like a great combination as the readings are constant and instantaneous. They will tell me when my water isn't that fresh, since it's there where I can't easily see it. I connected it to an Arduino and sent the data to Node Red so I have a digital meter showing the status of my water on my phone.

Pros
  • Turbidity sensor for Arduino can detect water quality by measuring the degree of turbidity
Cons
  • Expensive
