Review on Mr. Heater Corp F299720 20,000 BTU Blue Flame Propane Heater - Vent-Free, Multi-Purpose by Christine Chance

We installed this heater in a small insulated house (200 square feet) behind our house. This heater is a temporary heater until we can afford a direct vented stove. There was a slight odor the first few times we used it and I was ready to return it, but after a few uses the odor was mostly gone, except maybe after a long standstill. Now I'm glad the smell is gone. We don't usually have to go past #2 on the dial and I love how it cycles off and back on with a built in thermostat. We have installed 2 carbon monoxide/gas detectors in the cabin just in case. We have run this multiple times for 12+ hours in a row and our emergency detectors have never tripped. We live in Michigan and the winters are getting cold (7 degrees as of this writing), this stove keeps our cabin at 72-74 degrees on level 2 and goes all the way up to level 5. We've never had to go higher than #2 though.
