Just unbelievable! But it's expensive to walk a lot!

Well I had 22p and I put this beast to 3 and it was 70p in less than 10 minutes! Just unbelievable! I won't freeze my ass anymore! In my opinion the best heat in terms of value for money. **Update** I've been using this heater for a year now. It's great for heating a room quickly, but it requires a lot of propane for everyday use. Running is very expensive. It goes through (propane) grill tanks like water! Is the igniter really supposed to use that much gas? I think that's one of the reasons…

Great heater for our little salon.

We installed this heater in a small insulated house (200 square feet) behind our house. This heater is a temporary heater until we can afford a direct vented stove. There was a slight odor the first few times we used it and I was ready to return it, but after a few uses the odor was mostly gone, except maybe after a long standstill. Now I'm glad the smell is gone. We don't usually have to go past #2 on the dial and I love how it cycles off and back on with a built in thermostat. We have…

Experience on 600 sq ft + Propane Gas Parts List

Feet insulated only with thermal insulation. I've tried electric heating and that 1500 watt limit just can't heat the room. I ran this propane heater on high for 30 minutes and the temperature in the barn went from 30 degrees (outside temperature) to a comfortable 72 degrees. I really had to turn it down. I was really impressed. Attention - damn wet. Everything in the room was too cold (and well below the dew point of the room's relative humidity), so I had a serious condensation problem. In…

Why I Love This Heater

1. Don't underestimate the importance of a thermostat on your heater. I'm Mr. The Fan Heater is both a big buddy and a little buddy, but you'll need to be around to turn it off when it gets too hot. Having a thermostat is great and saves fuel because it turns off when it gets warm enough. No matter where the thermostat is located, there's a very nice feature: as you get closer to the cut-off temperature, the flame goes down by about half, so I assume it goes from 20,000 to 10,000 BTUs, saving…
