I bought this for my 2003 Tacoma with 240,000 miles. It was only $11 so I figured why not. It turned out that while the original bracket wasn't cracked, it was so soft that when the truck was warming up the entire transmission could shake if the clutch was used from a dead center. I thought I had a misshapen flywheel which would take a lot more time and money to fix, but after installing this new bracket the truck runs just as good as it did when it was new.
