Kit installs fairly easily, but the plastic parts are soft to the touch. Fixed initial broken track issue but left side would not stay up. I've taken it apart a few times to fix it and it's just flimsy plastic that slides at the top of the setting. Spending the extra $$ and getting a genuine Whirlpool part was probably worth it. At this point I have to turn the screw through the center to lock it in the up position, making the post non-adjustable. I will purchase a Whirlpool product if I can and start over. I do not recommend this product as an adjustable dish rack.
