Great for DIY cabinets
I built the cabinet 4ft wide so I used two posts at each end and one at the back center of the shelf. Be careful with the size of the hole you drill and try a spare piece of wood if you are unsure. My supports are so tight that I had to slide them back into place. I took these supports for their strength. I should be able to fit over 100 pounds on a 5 post shelf.
