Since I use it for my computer monitor, I'll focus on these issues. I set mine 8 feet away and sit right under the projector. I shoot a projector at a textured wall. I have about a 90 inch screen hanging on my wall. The only real issue for me is that the projector generates some heat in my small office like all projectors. Other than that, I'm great at reading text and typing this review on a projected wall. After two days I can say with confidence that my eyestrain has decreased significantly. I still have my regular monitors for things that are really detailed, but I try not to use them. Watch. See second figure. I can still recommend this projector.
