Review on πŸ”§ OTC (927) 10 Ton Push Puller: Heavy-Duty Versatility for Efficient Extraction by Josh Koa

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good puller, country of origin is a bit misleading

Works great with OTC hub/bearing splitter 1123, made in USA and should have been included with 1123 It is mostly an integral part of the instrument . I think my only criticism of the OTC 927 is that OTC is a bit stupid with this product's country of origin (I mean, is it really bolts, nuts, or a notched metal plate made in China). with the US packaged Beats or am I missing something?) Yes it is expensive and yes you can buy the Chinese version of it for MUCH less money from Harbor Freight. I try to have my toolbox made in the US as much as possible, so it was worth the extra cost to me. This is backed by a lifetime warranty (although with all the recent tool maker shutdowns and buyouts, you should take any warranty with a grain of salt). Performance wise, I used this tool to separate the bearing and seal from the drivetrain. Side hub on my 350Z and it worked like a charm. If you buy this tool, do yourself a favor and buy a 1/2" Sunex 216fp tube plug with 1/2" socket (made in Taiwan - I couldn't find any US made options, not even snap- on). Head mates perfectly with the square head of the puller so a pry bar can be used instead of a wrench.
