I used to have many levels but not a single digital one. I always thought that if a bubble is good enough for my dad, it's good enough for me. After opening the box and using it for a few minutes I can see why this is such a good idea. There were times I would look at it with a bubble and then compare it to the reading and I was close but not perfect. Sometimes I was out for 5 degrees. The advantage of this digital spirit level is that you not only get a real reference to the floor, but you can also adjust it to the reference line you set manually. You can do this not only for the leveling line, but also for the protractor function. Runs on 2 AA batteries and has an auto-off feature so it lasts a long time. The spirit level also has magnets on the bottom, but I'm not sure how often I'll use these when marking the walls. In general, this really is the best mousetrap.
