sundaes work great! What a great invention. I keep a few in the freezer so they're always ready. When freezing, they should be placed upside down, not upside down. I dropped one of the frozen shells on the floor and it broke, but the liquid inside didn't ooze out. My only caveat is that since they are sold as a set of 2, they really should be 2 in a box and not individually wrapped. . Whoever sends them doesn't understand that they have to send TWO shells. I ordered 3 sets and only received 3 bowls. I contacted Revain and the rep was very friendly and nice. He said he would send me the missing 3 bowls within 2 days. However, I only received 2 bowls. I called again and the second representative wasn't as knowledgeable or efficient. He sent me the missing mug, although this time it took me some time to receive it.
