My optometrist made me use this for a year or more to treat Demodex eyelid infection. First twice a day. Now on duty just once a day and I cut them in half and put half in a tiny ziplock bag for the next night. Save some money because it's expensive for me. I suffered from blepharitis-like symptoms for many years until I found an ophthalmologist who knew about Demodex infections and treated his patients against it. It's like a miracle. No more inflamed, itchy eyelids. The doctor took a sample and confirmed the diagnosis under a microscope, then he used the Blephex peeling tool, after that he started me on Cliradex. It takes a few months for things to get under control as demodex mites have a life cycle that needs to be broken. I love this product and wish I had been properly diagnosed years ago. But now is better than never. If you have eyelid problems, crusting, burning, swelling, etc., first see an optometrist who is familiar with Demodex and have them test you before using anything. Unfortunately, most of them don't even know what Demodex infection is. This is a great product.
