Just buy individual colors

I honestly just think you are better off buying whole skeins of floss specific to the project you are working on. I very rarely am in a situation where I do not have a pattern that gives me a specific list of colors. Additionally, you have to be wary of using this floss if you at all think you may run out before the completion of that color in your project, as it is not super easy to get another skein.

There are a lot of different threads to choose from that I can use for repairing items.

Cons

For a beginner this is a good purchase, however, the threads are not numbered.
