w-290 bought as a gift to his wife. I'm tired of her using my camera. I'm a Sony fan, I own at least 15 Sony products. From day one, the lens cover/shutter opens and closes slowly or doesn't close at all. Unacceptable for a Sony product. It looks like the spring is weak or something. As with all Sony cameras, the image quality is excellent. software is awesome. After a week of this issue it is now being repaired/replaced. I could get it from a cheaper camera.
