Design flaw in Surface Pro 2 charger

1.) This is the second Surface Pro 2 replacement charger I need in four months. With careful normal use of this charger, the non-detachable cable may snap near the black box, exposing the wires that have become loose and shorted out. This is a defect or design flaw in this particular charger. (The original charger that came with the Surface Pro 2 gave similar results, but it lasted longer than four months.) I managed to get the first replacement charger my son bought for me from KINGDO working with black tape to keep. but I don't think the repair will take very long. I bought this replacement charger from KINGDO to replace a sealed one. I tested it to make sure it works. I then wrapped black tape around the one piece cable where it exits the black box to avoid kinking the cable. Hopefully the steps I have taken will prevent the cable from breaking/shorting out and will keep the charger working for a reasonable amount of time. 2.) Additional plug-in does not match the black box. 3.) A holdall is good, but requires a thin, non-detachable cord that must be folded to fit. Folding this cable will cause it to tear. However, I can use my travel bag for other things. 4.) KINGDO's one-year warranty DOES NOT COVER "all plastic surfaces and other external parts that have been scratched or damaged through normal use". The wiring is encased in a plastic/rubber cable, making the one-year warranty seem useless in this situation. - Please tell me if I'm wrong.
