Working properly. There are no connection problems. All my cables work with it and it's great. I use it with a 16ft USB 3.0 male/male cable that I run from the gaming PC, through the media room, under the carpet and along the seam of my sofa and under the fold of the armrest. They are just enough and can pull out about 2 feet of cables to connect everything to my computer. Phones, laptops, flash drives, tablets, gadgets, gaming control pads, etc. This allows me to connect anything to my couch without spending money on a new male to female cable, so I'm happy! However, when I plug in a USB-A cable, many of the metal connectors are visible. This poses a risk of static electricity or something that should not come into contact with this metal. I know USB-A cables can't be fully plugged in, but USB connections aren't typically outdoors like this one would be. Since this is most common outdoors (especially with children and pets), the designer had to add a simple, inexpensive, short rubber sleeve at both ends to protect the metal of the USB-A connector no matter sooner or later it gets switched to USB-C switched.
