Although I live in the south, I love cold weather accessories that I have to use several times a year, especially scarves! This is a great shawl, wide enough to be worn as a shawl or more traditionally as a shawl. And as I discovered when I forgot to put my car mask back in the car after washing, it's a pretty decent makeshift mask. The scarf doesn't have a washing instruction label and the description doesn't, so I washed it in the washing machine and tumble dried and it was fine. It was incredibly static after drying and the fringes were a bit more worn at the ends than they were at the beginning, but that will happen with any raw edge over time. It's also very nice to wrap a scarf around you when it's fresh out of the dryer. It's almost a 5 star scarf, except that prolonged wear, especially on the back of the head, resulted in a small itch that just doesn't bother. It lends itself perfectly to a beautiful scarf. But for the price I might not notice the itch.
