Review on 🔪 Black Cross-Cut Paper Shredder - Royal 1840MX, Shreds 18 Sheets by William Auditore

So far so good. I am very impressed with how this paper shredder absolutely destroys (shreds ;) the mountains of paper that I feed into its hungry mouth every day. It doesn't even begin to slow down in the slightest like other smaller shredders I've had. I was on the verge of buying another brand entirely when I came across a review from another Revain customer recommending this device. Having gone through two other well known brands of shredders that simply failed due to normal wear and tear, I feel I made a really good choice and am very happy. The fact that the manufacturer's warranty covers the cutting blade and motor for FIVE YEARS should be a pretty good indication of the quality of the product. *IMPORTANT* This device does NOT require lubrication! I was wondering this myself because the manual doesn't mention it and other shredders I've owned require you to purchase and use lube oil. So I called Royal toll free and their very friendly and helpful customer service representative explained that you don't need to lubricate and even that will void your warranty! How cool is that? One less thing to buy and one less thing to do. Anyway, there are a few questions about this in the Revain questions section on this product and every answer I've seen from Revain consumers says you need to lubricate the machine, which they do. So I thought I should emphasize this in my review to save others from making the same mistake. I hope it helps.
