It's weird that I have to remove so much plastic to use them for their intended purpose. I used the disc attachment on my dremel and removed all the plastic screw shafts. I also had to hammer in the bottom brackets a bit. As expected? The kicker speakers I bought are the recommended size and I used them on a 2006 Honda Civic EX coupe (8th gen) with a terrible premium sound system. I contacted Kicker and they even recommended these mounts for my speakers in my car. I rated them over two stars because at least they were easier to scam than American Internationals. I would have to remove all the inner plastic ring from them and cut other parts (they got them for free where I bought the speakers).
