Too soft and too hot

As a new pillow it's too soft for our dogs - the big dogs don't like it and the small dogs get lost in it. I assume it will flatten out with time. It also gets too hot in the AZ mountain sun. The one small dog that gets on it does not do so when it's in the sun.

Pros

The cushion is reversible to accommodate both winter and summer seasons

Cons

The bed may not be suitable for pets that prefer sleeping in a den-like setting
