It only took me 15 minutes to change the lightbulb in my Benq HT3050. It would have been 5 minutes but I stopped to take these photos1. Turn off the device and turn off the device.2. Leave to cool.3. Unscrew the screws on both ends of the projector and remove the cover.4. Remove the plastic dust cover5. Unscrew the housing of a lamp6. Lift the lamp body and turn off the power7. Place a spare lamp nearby8. Unscrew the screws and expose the lamp9. Disconnect the power cords from the lamp 10. Connect the power cords to the new lamp 11. Insert the new lamp into the housing and tighten the screws. 12. Use compressed air to blow dust off the fans inside the projector.13. Reinstall the case into the projector. power connector and mounting screw. 14. Replace the cover and tighten the screws.15. Reset the lamp clock in the menu.16. Enjoy a few more years.
