I bought this 'heated' blanket specifically to use as an electric blanket. The use of quotation marks around the word "heated" indicates that its mission is somewhat exaggerated: the heating function is so severely limited that it should be renamed a "slightly warm" blanket, and the heat shouldn't overflow spread the ceiling. It only seems to exist in about half of them. For those who really want an electric blanket, look elsewhere. For those who want a very thin thermal blanket, this is your product. I wanted an electric blanket which is not available hence the 1 star rating. I hope this review will save others from a cold night's sleep. I want to tell you something that will warm your heart and your feet.
