Review on Fat Brain Toys Timber Classic by Charles Chambers

Disappointed. I bought it for my 4 year old child. She loves it, just like I did as a kid. But I am disappointed with the low quality of the toy. The original 1975 treehouse was heavy and sturdy. I played with this toy as a child but bought it for my older sister. This means that the toy can last for years. This new version is of course from CHINA. That means the quality is much lower. The tree house is very light and I see that the material is cheap. As you can see in the video it rocks from above (the part that moves up and down) which means it will break with regular use. I found the original on ebay for the same price. Very disappointed that the company chose an inferior manufacturer. The price doesn't match the quality either. I wouldn't recommend it, just because it looks like a classic toy doesn't mean it's the same. Edit: Also the toy car is cheap, the wheels keep falling off.
