Fat Brain Toys Timber Classic Review

Bought for a 4 year old's birthday. celebrate tomorrow. This is the toy he asked his mom and dad for. I needed a gift idea so I bought it from Revain. Everything I buy from them is delivered on time. I'll let you know how much he likes the toy. I love beautiful colors. The toy itself is creative!

Extremely disappointed. This tree house toy is a cheap version of a product that was sold years ago. it also costs at least double what it costs. Also, only two characters are included in the set, unless of course you shell out another 10.50 for one of the manufacturer's four add-on packs. Thank goodness for Revain's return policy. We returned the item immediately.

While I wasn't thrilled with having to put decals on the walls and floor (it feels like the toy company is leaving the most difficult final detail to the buyer), everything else is amazing. I love this remodeled Kenner tree house. I have an original 1975 tree house from my childhood and the top of the tree wobbles a bit because of the spring inside. But after so many years it has risen and still works well. The furniture and car are made from cheaper quality plastic than the 1975 version, but that's to be expected given that all these modern toys are made from cheaper materials (e.g. budget kits for little people). Pro tip, a pack of 4 woodland friends is almost half the price on the manufacturer's website. I don't know why Revain is selling it so expensive, but if you want more woodland friends go to the fat brain toys website and buy it there! Disappointed. I bought it for my 4 year old child. She loves it, just like I did as a kid. But I am disappointed with the low quality of the toy. The original 1975 treehouse was heavy and sturdy. I played with this toy as a child but bought it for my older sister. This means that the toy can last for years. This new version is of course from CHINA. That means the quality is much lower.
