Review on Sparx Men's Elite Triathlon Suit: The Ultimate Trisuit for Speed, Performance, and Comfort in Swim-Bike-Run Races by Joshua Castillo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent triple suit for the price - a few flaws

Pros - Decent construction and materials, medium fit was almost perfect for me (5ft 11in, 162lbs). able to drive 3 or so 90+ miles and not felt uncomfortable. The suit felt tight for both a commute and a jog. Cons - probably not designed for endurance racing; While suede is good for driving, it causes irritation on long runs - once at 8 miles and the second time at 13 miles. Needless to say, I was in a lot of pain afterwards. I think it has to do with the amount of moisture it traps in the pad, but long runs just make you sweat. I would have no hesitation in using it for Olympic distances or short distances. not one of them but for the price it's a good value if you don't want to spend more than $150. I've also heard stories of these racing suits falling apart after repeated washings during weekly use; I would probably only use it for real racing and pre-race training stones, not everyday use. While swimming I felt more resistance than if I was just wearing my speedo mufflers. Again, probably because the material is your standard lycra and not one of the new high tech fabrics.
