The first thing I tried was cooked ribs which I sealed to later reheat sous vide. However, four out of five packages have lost their seal. It doesn't matter if I tried a "wet" or "dry" setting. There was a noticeable gap in the two seals and the vacuum never stopped working. In the other two cases, the seal worked fine, but the vacuum in the bags disappeared after 5-10 minutes. Other issues: The instructions are rudimentary at best. I had never used a vacuum sealer before and didn't know where to place the edge of the bag, but there wasn't enough detail in the drawing to tell. There was no information on the Foodsaver website and I finally found a YouTube video. Cleaned, packed, back tomorrow.
