Review on πŸ§₯ Little Boys' Winter Jackets & Coats: Free Country's Affordable Clothing Collection by Steve Rohde

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The lining is very thin and is great, maybe for early fall and.

This coat is just fine. For that reason, I say NO, and I repeat, this coat is NOT made for winter use here in Illinois. The lining is very thin and ideal for early fall and the shell is the same. I hope they make a warm coat together. I've read reviews that the coat was warm even though it was thin, but I'm not sure. I can see it not being suitable for early December in northern Illinois, but I will need a new coat in February. I think I'll send it back as it was supposed to be part of the Christmas gifts. I think the quality of the brand is great and I've had coats from them in the past but it was a heavier weight one piece coat which I thought would add the same warmth with two layers but it's more like a great one Raincoat for cold weather coating. that is detachable. I read so many reviews and thought this was the coat to go for, but personally, EH, I guess I'm glad I opened the bag before going to the diaper a few weeks later. upset. I wish there was a temperature rating listed with the coat but there isn't one not that I can find. The size is perfect for those who think the size is big, but it's not, the temples are a little longer than usual on the case, but you want the weather and possible snow and humidity to stay out. If your child has short arms NO this coat is not for you but if your child appears to be proportionate then size is great and length is normal. The lining is slightly shorter down the length of the sleeve which is fine as of course it needs to fit inside the coat. Each brand is a little different as we all know it was the same arm length as all but one of my sons coats and those arms were tucked into a tailcoat so was expected to fit better. Love the thinness of the coat just not sure what the temp will be and for those who live where I live if you get down to -20 degrees with no wind you need something much colder as what.

Pros
  • Provides insulation without bulk so you can move easily
Cons
  • Coat may not have adjustable details such as cuffs or drawstrings at waist for a custom fit.
