Loved these boxes when we first got two. They felt well made but were lightweight and folded for easy storage. My husband was delighted that they would not damage the interior of the car. On our first trip with them, a cat opened the door from the inside wide enough to escape for the first two hours, even with the zipper's safety catch (too long to work well). By four o'clock, cat #2 had made a hole in one side and pierced it with its head and one leg. He had the same hole on the other side so he could have gotten out sooner if he'd focused. This resulted in a crash at Petsmart to change crates and a dangerous change of crates in the car. Knowing that even normally well-travelled cats can get scared enough to attempt an escape, I would not recommend this cage to anyone.
