This cam I have in big block 402 1971 with standard clutch pistons and 820 cast heads, chambered 113cc in fact it works very well. I have a 1993 c1500 long bed engine with 4:10 gearing and he woke the engine up immediately by running a Proform 650 race carb and a 2800 converter and it runs very powerfully. If you want an awkward sounding cam rather than a big caliper motor, the Thumpr cam is the way to go. Works best at a compression of 9 to 1 or higher.
