I've had cast iron cookware since 1986. I also have relatives who have cast iron cookware from the 40's! I learned the NEVER WASH method and just cleaned with salt and paper towels, "never have to season again,” I was told. I've been looking at net cleaners for years and finally decided to give it a try. I went to LodgeCastIron.com and went to the How to Clean Cast Iron section. I follow the recommended method, washing and seasoning all my pans. The Lodge Cast Iron cleaning method is quick and easy and I am very happy with the results. I give it 5 stars for comfort (I have small hands), 5 stars for comfort - this steel chain mail fits great on the scrub brush and a simple rinse afterwards is all the kit needs.
