I have never used or needed kayaking gloves but this summer I received some nice Werner carbon gloves and their shaft is so smooth it slips when my hands are sweaty or wet. I decided to try gloves before trying to change stock or add grips and I'm very happy with my choice. These gloves are durable and don't get hot in 90+, but they warm up even in 60 degree weather. I'll admit that I prefer them to other brands because they come in bright colors (I just find neutrals boring), but they do exactly what I need. I came back today to buy a spare pair in case I lose them.
