I bought two of these, one for my work laptop and one for my personal laptop on either side of my desk. In both cases, the arm that attaches the laptop plate falls slightly away from the base stand, but just enough that there is more than a 1/4 inch difference between one end of the laptop top and the other, meaning it tilts is . (The laptop is not level.) The base itself is level, I checked, there is no lever. These aren't heavy laptops, and even when it's not on, it tilts when you put the plane on the mount. Not natural, why no one else is complaining about this but maybe it just bothers me and nobody else unless I did something wrong but there isn't much in the build. I've contacted support a response is expected (they list an average turnaround time and 93% is within 3 hours, I think I'm one of the 7% and have to wait for them on Monday). I'm thinking about coming back, otherwise it might be too late. As a workaround, I sawed off two pieces of a paint stirrer (the cardboard didn't fit, just flattened when tightened), attached an extra circle of felt tape from another piece to avoid scratching the table, and placed it under the clamp half that corresponds to the Laptop closest worked up to as long as it was straight aligned, but now, since it does not lie flat on the table surface, it is not completely stable and can move slightly when adjusting the weapon. An alternative would be a life size tapered piece, but what should I do, design one on my 3D printer? I don't think I would need to do all of this for something as basic as having a level laptop. Maybe there is a way to configure it, but you don't see it and you're waiting for a response from the support team. If that bothers you, maybe you should look at something else. It's great in OTHER, but it bothers me so much that I had to stop and find a temporary solution. An alternative would be a life size tapered piece, but what should I do, design one on my 3D printer?
