I mounted them on my road bike because my knees didn't like the pedals and shoes without clips. The clip worked well but did not allow me to adjust the position and position/angle of my knee on the fly to relieve knee pain. Also, I didn't like changing my shoes just to drive around the neighborhood with my wife. These OneUp pedals solved both problems. They have a nice wide platform with a thin profile that allows me to adjust foot position and angle as needed on long rides to eliminate knee pain. They are also very grippy and work well with any of my running shoes. Very good pedals. I'll probably pack some more for my mountain bikes and fat bikes.
