Extremely soft. However, I am 5'4 115lbs and this is too big on the furthest snap so I do not recommend to anyone my size or smaller. Also, I have several different hair turbans and this one is designed poorly - there is an elastic band in the length of the turban making it a pain to twist and secure in the back. Will be returning due to the size.
