Wouldn't hold charge

Product was charged. But lost charge while resting. Waste of money. Charger works. Haven't had any issues with other batteries we bought to replace these useless ones.Vendor refunded product seamlessly.

Pros
  • Batteries can be used immediately out of the package
Cons
  • When batteries are drained, they may not be able to recover after recharge

Terrible battery life compared to other brands

I have been buying these for years and after buying two other brands it's obvious I was in denial that the battery life of these being absolutely terrible. When I first got them they were comparable to other brands but in the last two years they die in a couple days vs. months I am getting from enoloop and amazom basics rechargeable batteries. Don't buy these.

Pros
  • Batteries come pre-charged and 1200 Tech, ProCyco (Professional recycle) helps maximize its best power performance while charging.
Cons
  • Can be heavy depending on the number of batteries being used

If you wanna save money on batteries this is the way to go however quality control on these needs to be better, right out the package and fully charged after 2nd charge one battery started to overheat and take longer to charge so I bought another 6 pack and we’ll 2 more batteries started to malfunction as well. But I did notice if you let those faulty batteries sit for awhile they seem to fix themselves and for now are back to working condition but we will see

Pros
  • stayed charged for a decent amount of time
Cons
  • Not ideal for children's toys or devices that require constant battery replacement

Would not work in light so waste of money

Would not work in light, so if will not work in items made for that size battery it is waste of my money. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • The batteries have a wide temperature range, making them safe and stable even in extreme temperatures
Cons
  • Can become damaged if exposed to water or moisture

be careful that you have a charger that works with these

I have 3 chargers that work with all sorts of batteries including C cell. well, none of them can charge these batteries. had to buy another one. so took off 2 stars. I'm using them so will have to update later after testing them.

Pros
  • Does what it should
Cons
  • Not travel-friendly

Does not hold charge

I purchased every type of EBL battery as well as a charging station. The batteries simply do NOT hold a charge for any extended period of time. I am disappointed I missed the cutoff time to return all these nonfunctioning items. I was intent in doing away with disposable electronics of any kind until this across the board failure.

Pros
  • They sen represent batteries, and all were good , great customer support.
Cons
  • Recharging process may take a long time

Pleasantly surprised

I wasn't too sure when we ordered these how they would work, but they are great! We use them for our baby's motion toy that goes on his crib as well as his mobile. They are on every night, and the batteries last for at least a week or more. They have definitely saved us a lot of money.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Heavy usage may require multiple sets of batteries for immediate replacement

Work well and do retain charge for at least several months.

The failure rate of these seems to be about 10% (3 out of 32 cells) but this may be in part due to they way the cells ar used. I use them in outdoor path lights and they stay in there through typical winter and summer weather. I generally swap them out with a second set about every six months or when I notice that a light no longer auto-switches to bright mode when the motion sensor is tripped. The cells that failed came from lights that had gone completely out, so the cells in question likely…

Pros
  • Good product at a good price.
Cons
  • Some users may prefer to use non-rechargeable batteries instead of rechargeable ones

Didn't last long…but company replaced them free of charge

I bought these batteries two years ago and use them in some battery operated candles that I have. The candles are on a timer and come on for a few hours each day. I found that these needed to be charged fairly frequently, which I can get past. But I also noticed that they would consistently throw an error message on my battery charger. I found a youtube video for how to fix that (put negative end of charged batter to negative end of dead battery and use metal tongs to connect positive ends for…

Pros
  • Life of a battery is everything.
Cons
  • Not ideal for emergency situations that require quick battery replacement

Some batteries defective according to my charger

My battery charger will flash red when there is a defective battery. It does this for several of the batteries I received. Fortunately, if they’re left in the charger long enough, they are usable. I’m still concerned with the drain it may be causing the others and the longevity of those cells

Pros
  • EBL rechargeable C batteries have a high energy density, making them ideal for power-hungry devices
Cons
  • Some users may not feel comfortable handling rechargeable batteries

After 1.5 yr several are dead

I'm pretty frustrated with these batteries. We purchased these and the "D" batteries about 1.5 yr ago. We don't use them very often, so 6 months ago, when our son was born, we pulled the "C"s out to put in his bassinet. The battery life was decent, but after their 2nd charge (ever), they're reporting as dead in all my b

Pros
  • You can use them in high drain devices such as flashlights, radios, and toys without worrying about the battery dying out
Cons
  • May not hold a charge after multiple uses

Still working after 7 months of charging every 2 weeks

Bought these for a cat toy using 3 C cells after seeing that normal alkaline batteries only lasted a week. After 7 months of use, rotating the 8 batteries and charging 3 every week, they are still going strong. Worth the money I spent on these and the charger (EBL LCD Universal).

Pros
  • The batteries are lightweight, making them ideal for use in portable devices like radios and flashlights
Cons
  • Not efficient for low-power devices that take a long time to drain batteries

I Was Charged! for my opinion

No longer do I buy batteries at the market! These last for years and I keep them in the charger until needed. Because of these, I also have AAA, AA, D, and 9-Volt versions! Oh, the chargers are nice also! While I did not do the math, not bringing packages of batteries home every week feels good! My LED flashlights are always ready to go!

Pros
  • Household Supplies
Cons
  • Can be difficult to find a replacement charging cord if lost

performing very well

Bought these to replace the Best Buy brand set of eight which failed very quickly in use -- probably very very unusual, but it happened. I also like the reusuable molded plastic 2-pack cases EBL uses for their Nimh batteries.

Pros
  • Just got these batteries, so cannot comment on longevity. Good value .
Cons
  • Comes in a pack of eight, may not be a suitable amount for everyone

The battery is ok in my review

I found this pack of batteries is ok. Nothing amazing. It docent hold for a long time and also some times change fails. I have to boost change it to get it going. Not sure what is going on with these.

Pros
  • Household Batteries
Cons
  • May not take full advantage of advanced electronic features that require non-rechargeable counterparts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Check protective cases at delivery.

Batteries seem ok, sadly a bubble pack for shipping isn’t. All the protective cases were cracked badly. So open your package when you get it. Without the damage these are a decent value for the 5000mah size capacity.

Pros
  • These batteries have a low self-discharge rate, so they retain power even when stored for a long time
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor activities or activities in extreme temperatures

Great reliable battery

Just used these batteries over the weekend for a camping trip, worked great in my little boom box playing the CD the entire time got two full nights and partial third night out of these batteries so I am pleased with that and recommend these batteries. Had the Odec rechargeable batteries before and for some reason the batteries stopped charging but I was given a refund and switched to these and glad I did. I will be buying more soon always good to have reliable backup batteries when in the…

Pros
  • They have a low maintenance cost, since you don't have to keep buying new batteries
Cons
  • May not be ideal for usage in extreme weather conditions

A REAL-DEAL, Accurate Review. not just a few simple words.

I got these 2 days ago and finally had a chance to take them out. I immediately put them on a digital charger and it they only showed 1 light bar on each charger (the charger goes up to 3 bars), so they were in NO WAY completely charged when I received them, as the seller has written. They have been on a charger for almost 3hrs and are now finally around 80-90% charged. I'm guessing they have been in their warehouse for a few months to a year. When I looked at the sellers page before writing…

Pros
  • I Like the Rechargeable Feature with These
Cons
  • Initial cost may be higher due to required battery chargers

Don't last long on a charge

These don't keep their charge very long in devices or on the shelf. Have to be recharged before use if left on the shelf more than a couple weeks. Also if using the EBL charger, the won't be charged even though they show full charge. Have to reseat them and let them charge before using.

Pros
  • You can use them in outdoor adventures since they are shock and vibration resistant
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all kinds of devices that require C batteries

Longevity, motion detection and value

In this case I believe I've found the Goldie Locks of batteries. However in fairness I'm not sure how long they will last, I just got them and they have lasted this long and just for this review I just looked at them again and they look like they are lasting. Also I haven't been able to detect any motion from them at all. They seem to stay where I set them. As far as me moving, I'm not sure if they can detect me moving or not. How would one tell?

Pros
  • EBL rechargeable C batteries have a stable discharge voltage, which prevents equipment damage
Cons
  • Short lifespan could lead to battery leakage and potential damage to devices
