Good battery for great price.

My newborn son has a bunch of battery operated baby things that take C batteries, yup, freaking C batteries. Who the heck makes anything C battery operated? Anyway, I figured I’d try some rechargeable ones and these were a good price. They function great so far. Admittedly, I’ve only used them a few days and recharged once, but they seem to be surviving and doing what I need. Now how can I complain about that.

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Durability may not be as strong as non-rechargeable batteries

Good Performance and Great Value.

There doesn’t seem to be very many objective, evidence based reviews here – so I thought I’d post my findings to help shed some light on these EBL rechargables. Since Best Buy shows both D cell and C cell reviews here, I’ll combine mine here, too. I bought 20 D’s and 16 C’s for my vintage radio collection and a few Mag-Lights I have…There isn’t a real choice for name brand D and C cell rechargeable batteries (as there are for AA and AAA). This is why I chose the EBL D cell rated at 10,000 mAh…

Pros
  • The batteries can be recharged more than 1200 times, making them durable and cost-effective
Cons
  • Must be charged before initial use

So glad to NOT run out of batteries

Never run out of batteries with these rechargeable batteries. They recharge in an hour or so and that beats running to the store.

Pros
  • EBL rechargeable C batteries come with a high capacity of 5000mAh, ensuring extended life and power for your gadgets
Cons
  • Limited lifespan may lead to more battery replacements in the long term

Good value for money

Very pleased with the performance of these batteries. Can also recommend their charging unit. It's a good idea to buy more batteries than you will have in operation at one time, so you can immediately replace the drained ones with charged batteries, rather than wait for the batteries to recharge. Charging the larger sizes (C and D) cells takes some time. We have a lot of battery-powered devices, all powered by this brand. Out of a total of 70 batteries of various sizes, and over the course of…

Pros
  • They have a low memory effect, which means that they don't require discharge before recharging
Cons
  • Not ideal for certain environments

Fast shipping best in my review

Just received the batteries so not sure on longevity but so far so good. Batteries were shipped fast and arrived on time.

Pros
  • Batteries can be used in any C device and work in all C NiMH chargers; ideal for high drain devices
Cons
  • Not suitable for all electronic devices that require C batteries

A waste of money best in my review

Update: Joseph from Customer Service contact me right away and sent out 4 new C batteries. Their customer service is great and I've raised my rating to 4 stars. When you pay 4 times as much as a standard Best BuyBasic C cell you would expect the rechargeable to last much more than 4 times in total service life. But NO. I can't even recharge half of these and some the Basic C totally out lasted the rechargeable. I am using an EBL charger and half of the batteries show error. I wanted to use these

Pros
  • You can recharge them using any battery charger compatible with NiMH batteries
Cons
  • Users may need to purchase additional battery chargers to accommodate for multiple units
