I bought this as a safety measure for my elderly mother so that she can see clearly at night when she gets up to go to the toilet etc. The settings are simple and the instructions on how to use them are clear . I've only had it a few days so can't confirm how long the charge lasts but I like the simple design, the price and how the backlight works. The sensor isn't overly sensitive and the brightness is easily changed with a small remote control (which came with batteries, you just had to pull out a small piece of plastic and it was as easy as pointing at a light and pressing buttons). ). What my mom enjoys most is a bright light that she doesn't have to worry about turning on or forgetting to turn off!
