I play on the couch. I like to sit on the couch and play games while the TV is on. I was looking for a laptop stand that also has a fan. I found this one to be good. While you can lift it to change the angle, I don't. If you choose to lift it, the lip holding the computer is pretty solid. I think it's going to take quite a while to shake it off. Another reviewer said the mouse pad doesn't slide in and out. It is, but honestly I wouldn't want it. When not in use, the mouse pad snaps neatly into place at the bottom. Removable bottom lining. Sometimes I take it off while sitting on the stand itself, anywhere other than on my knees. I have two things I want to change. The bottom hinge for adjusting the height is difficult to pull out of the recess it sits in. The fan is great but wish there was more than one. It was advertised with one so I wasn't surprised. Exactly what I'll look out for next time I think.
