Took two on a treasure wagon for our kids to replace old Samsung 7 inch tablets. I wasn't expecting much from the Tab A's to be honest, but I really like them! It comes with 32g storage automatically, which is great for downloading lots of games and applications that take up storage space. Add an SD card and you'll be golden for a while. In particular, it was a messaging app that allows us to video chat with the whole family from 4 tablets, have no lag even with 4 on video and present a clear image with the front camera. And the battery lasts what feels like an eternity - the first day on a full charge was used for more than 4 hours (according to the parent app that we also downloaded) with videos and games and still had more than half the charge. And in terms of size, you wouldn't think of going from a 7-inch screen to an 8-inch one. The screen would really make a difference, but it really does. Colors are vibrant and vibrant. I can't understand eak for technical things but as a daily tablet for running games and videos, web surfing and video chatting it's really great. I will go back and buy another one to replace my old Nook.
