This doesn't work with my Moto X4 and the case set. The connector does not reach far enough to connect a cased phone. I found the Encased Moto G6 stand to work very well. It features an adjustment knob on the stand that allows you to set the correct connector height for your specific phone/case. Its openness should allow many other USB-C phone/case combos to work.
