This collar is perfect for my large breed Anatolian Shepherd. This company's Large size is larger than the pet store size, making it suitable for dogs with wide necks. The fabric is durable and I appreciate the all metal hardware which means the collar will last a long time. One thing to note about the design of this collar (not this company, but Martindale collars in general) is that it can be dangerous if the dog latches on to anything. I've read other reviews saying not to leave dogs with collars when inside and I've ignored that warning to this day. My two dogs were playing and one had its mouth clamped around the other dog's collar. The collar was so tight my dog started gagging. I managed to unravel the collar, but it was all terrible. I couldn't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't been home. From now on I will only put this collar on my dogs when I take them outside. The collar is easy to put on and take off, so this security measure does not cause any inconvenience.
