My Doberman loved it, but it was peeled to the innermost layer very rapidly. The outside layer should be stronger, and a couple more layers would probably help the toy to last longer.She’s not very interested in the spiky ball, but it is still better than a bunch of stuffing. She cared less about the toy once it didn’t have appendages to tear at, she’s still carrying around the outside skin and trying to finish ripping off the cactus spines.Overall it’s better than traditional stuffing-filled toys, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations.
