I still have an old projector that doesn't have an HDMI input. The output from my switch goes to an HDMI splitter. This splits the signal between a flat screen TV and a projector connected via a VGA cable. Since everything is in Full HD, the projector has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels via VGA. The little converter immediately started to work. No interference is visible and the sound can be heard in the best quality via a separate output (3.5 mm jack).
