we hate to turn on the light it's such an ugly color. It says 3000K, which is really good for other lights like halo kitchen lights, but the light from this fan is just awful, like fluorescent lights. I do not recommend. The fan also spins randomly and no one turns it on. We leave the remote on the wall so we don't sit on it and turn it on. The installer has quite a bit of time to install it. The "remote box," as he called it, didn't fit under the covers; it took extra time. The blades are silver-colored composite wood, not metal, and they started sagging as soon as he installed them. I have no idea what they will be doing in a year. The fan is pretty decent, which is really nice; I just wish it had a decent light. Maybe we'll send it back or replace it with a nicer one.
