My son is about 41.5 inches tall and weighs about 41 pounds and the 4T fits him well. Pants are a little extra, but suspenders help. The length is perfect. The suspenders slide off the arms so this is not a 5 star rating. The safety pin helped with a quick and imperfect repair.
